Abyaneh
The ancient village of Abyaneh, having survived the elements for over 1,500 years, is perched up on the foothills of Mt Karkas.
The winding lanes of mud and stone will guide the traveler to a beautiful blue tiled shrine and mosque dating back to 11th century. Old women sell dried fruit on the streets, while the young have left the village for the cities.
