Shahram Nazeri was born in a Kurdish musical family. He was the first vocalist to set Rumi's poetry to Persian music thirty-five years ago, thus establishing a tradition of Sufi music within both Persian classical music and Kurdish music. His music was instrumental in introducing Western musical audiences to both Sufism and to the poetry of Rumi.

Keyhan Kalhour is an internationally acclaimed virtuoso on the kamancheh (Persian spiked fiddle). His performances of Persian music and his many collaborations have attracted audiences around the globe.

Dariush Dolatshahi is one of the most talented Tar and Setar (Persian lutes) players. Dolatshahi improvises exotic-sounding music that demands concentration on the part of the listener. The NY Times has called him a "masterful performer."

Googoosh is considered to be the most popular Iranian singer amongst many generations of Iranians. In recent years she has sold out concerts to audiences of over thirty thousand in the U.S. and elsewhere. She has performed duets with Tina Turner, Charles Aznavour, Ray Charles and many others.

Farhad was the voice of his generation. He was an award winning Persian legendary Rock singer, songwriter, guitarist and a grand icon. Farhad's music is one of the most melancholic, representing the sadness and struggles of his generation. He was one of the most influential musicians of his generation in the 70s through late 90s.

Soheil Nafissi is a self taught musician. He has created a form of Iranian Chansons by using famous contemporary poetries of Iran, accompanied by his guitar. His music is greatly influenced by the Hormozgan region of Iran.
